CryptoLogic's Millionaire's Club II Video Slot Review
Published on: July 23, 2014
The Millionaire's Club II is the sequel to the original game by CryptoLogic which was a part of their three-reel progressive jackpot series. This game continues the high-payout action with a video slot format. What you'll notice is that this game is almost completely centered around the progressive, so don't expect much else of importance to happen in the game. As such, this game has one of the highest levels of variance that you'll find anywhere online, but if you're okay with that, then it's one of the best pure progressives you'll find online.
With the Millionaire's Club II, you'll have a five-reel video slot with the normal set of three rows of symbols. There are nine paylines in this game, and although it has this somewhat older format, you're going to notice that it's plenty for the action that you'll have in this game. Coins range from $0.10 to $20 each, and you can bet up to one coin on each payline. As we mentioned above, this game has a very high volatility, so make sure that you compensate your bet size by making it a little smaller than you normally would.
The key feature here is the progressive jackpot. There are Millionaires Club symbols that show up on the first, third and fifth reels, and if you get all three on the screen at the same time, then you're taken to a bonus screen with a wheel. There are different levels to the wheel, and you move to the next level by landing on an arrow. If you miss an arrow, you'll get a cash payout that's going to be pretty good, but it gets better the closer you get to the center. Hit the progressive jackpot in this bonus feature to take down the biggest payout in the game.
There are some other decent payouts in this game which makes it different from the original which was all about the progressive. The platinum credit card symbol is wild, and five wilds on the same payline will get you a nice 10,000x top jackpot which is impressive. There's also a 5,000x secondary jackpot available as well. The progressive starts at $175,000 and keeps getting bigger until someone wins it. In fact, it's regularly spotted in the seven-figure range, and it's gotten as high as $3 million on occasion. Overall, this is a great high-action game.
