Slots Betting Systems
Published on: July 21, 2016
Slots are common games that are very easy to play, so many players would not think of any type of betting strategy or system as they would if they were to play roulette or blackjack. However, there are some serious slot players that do employ betting systems in hopes of generating more, or larger payouts from the games. Unfortunately, there is not much else players can do to have an effect on slots. These games are all controlled by Random Number Generators, so the result is already predetermined when a spin is taken.
One of the common systems that is used with slots is the Pyramid System. This means that players will start betting the least amount of coins and increase it with every spin. For example, if the game supports a maximum of five coins per payline, players start with one, increase to two and carry on until they reach the maximum. They will then reverse the sequence. With this system, players have a god chance of collecting large wins when they place higher bets and can conserve the bankroll on smaller bet amounts.
The High-Low betting system is quite similar to the Pyramid system and this is used on games that do not have progressive jackpots. With this, players can place a bet as high or as low as they desire on any spin. If the highest coin amount is $6 on a game and the lowest is $2, players will start with $2, then $6 and back to $2. This system continues for the length of play and is based on a single coin on each payline.
Players who have played table games in the past will have heard of the Martingale system, and this can also be used with slot games. With this system, players will double the amount of every bet when they lose until they enjoy a win. They will then start at a base bet and continue doubling that amount until another win is created. Can quickly deplete a bankroll, but when playing progressive games, it can drastically increase jackpot amounts while providing players with chances to win life altering payouts.
Slot betting systems are not proven systems. Since these games always have random results, the increase or decrease of a wager amount does nothing to improve any chances of winning, but it will help players win larger amounts when they increase the bet amounts.
