Vegas Technology Bump It Up Video Poker
Published on: March 17, 2011
A few months back the leading online gaming software provider Vegas Technology introduced a new format of video poker titled Bump It Up. It is doing well at Vegas Technology online casinos and has succeeded in reviving flagging interest in video poker games. Those players who are familiar with the mechanism of Microgaming’s Level Up video poker will find it easy to follow this game.
The Bump It Up video poker game just released uses the Jacks or Better variant. The player first chooses the number of hands from up to four. Each hand represents a higher level. The coin size and the number of coins wagered are chosen as usual. The entire wager for the number of hands chosen is paid up front. When the player clicks the Deal button five cards are dealt to the first hand. The hand is played in the usual video poker way with the player being allowed to replace as many cards as he wants. If there is no winning combination in the first hand after replacement of cards the game is over and the total wager placed is lost. However if there is a win in the first hand then cards are dealt to the second level. A win at the second level results in double the payouts shown in the payout table. It also results in the cards being dealt at the third level. A win at this level pays the player four times the amount shown in the payout table and bumps him up to the fourth and final level. A win at this level multiplies payouts eight times.
A loss at any level ends the game at that level without bumping the player upwards. But the good news is that players are entitled to the amount accumulated till that loss. This amount can be collected by the player or he can try to double it in an independent game. This also applies to the amount the player has accumulated by winning all selected levels. If the player wants to double the winnings then he is taken to a different screen. There one card is dealt face up and four cards are dealt face down. The player has to select any face down card. If it is higher ranked than the face up card then the player doubles the amount staked. Otherwise he loses whatever he has won. After doubling his stake successfully the player can repeat the side game again and again.
The betting parameters of Vegas Technology Bump It Up video poker are as follows.
The coin size varies from $0.01 to $5.00 and players can choose to wager up to four coins. The payout table shows the payout in coins for the number of coins wagered. It automatically adjusts when the number of coins wagered is changed. Regular video poker players will realize that there is no jackpot payout offered for hitting a royal flush with four coins wagered.
Bump It Up Jacks or Better can be played at all Vegas Technology online casinos. CasinoAdvisor recommends Caribbean Gold Casino, Slots Galore Casino, VIP Slots Casino and Go Casino.
