Cryptologic is one of the largest suppliers of online casino software.  They have over 400 slot machines, table games, and poker games that they offer to online casinos. They are well known for the graphics, themes, and bonuses the slot machines can provide.  In a bold move they have decided to provide their software platforms to online casinos that already have a software provider.  The games they are offering will only be their slot machines.

They decided they needed to broaden their base of consumers to increase turnover.  The strategy is to allow their games to be reached by more players.  Up until now an online casino has only had one software provider.  This has meant if you like a game from RTG or Real Time Gaming you would have to belong to one of their casinos.  If you also liked a Cryptologic game you would have to belong to another online casino to play that slot machine.  With this new move you could belong to one casino and find the games you love.

Cryptologic has signed a contract with Totesport.  This agreement is for a multi- year contract with the UK Company.  Cryptologic will offer the sports betting site their slot machines.  At the moment they are slotted to offer their top six games.  These games will be both their branded and unbranded games.  The exact slot machines to be available have yet to be released, though players can expect the games will be based on the top revenue games that Cryptologic has devised.  These games will be available sometime in the third quarter of 2009.

President Justin Thouin of Cryptologic stated that they are already in a powerful position for the UK gaming industry.  However, this move will increase their position in these hard economic times.  Totesport is a highly respected brand in the UK.  By offering slot machine games they are combining with a great company.  Both companies will be offering their various skills to see that players have a great time online.  At the moment Cryptologic has 23 licenses with four international casino operators.  Expansion into other sectors is also in the works, but that will take a bit more time.  Once the contract with Totesport is set up and active they can focus on other areas of the business.  This will include new games being offered at other casinos over the next several months.
