A recent survey was conducted regarding online casinos and stay-at-home moms.  The survey revealed that these mothers are spending less time in front of the telly and more time on the internet at online casinos.  Four out of five moms surveyed in the poll responded that they go online at least once a day to get news, socialise, shop, and play online casino games.

About 25 percent of those polled stated they spend about two hours or more online with gambling. Still, social networking is the largest pull for women online.  Many of the stay at home mothers stated the online casinos are even better when they can socialise a bit more.  They get to play some games and make a little money.  Yahoo even revealed a survey they completed regarding online casinos.

Yahoo found two out of every three mothers polled use the internet as their primary source of information.  Watching television is no longer important since the internet has a great deal to offer.  It’s not only about the online casinos and shopping. It is also about watching shows online rather than in front of the television.  Daytime TV has almost become an outdated option for women.

Most women no longer care about the soap opera dramas.  Instead they want to stay in touch, have a little fun in online casinos and enjoy being at home with their children.  The trends seem to be changing in a harmless way according to most analysts.  These same experts stated that evolution is natural, which means heading to technology like the Internet is really just the next step.

For now this new poll does not see any harm.  Mothers are just having a bit of fun during the day to break up some of the other things they must get done.  For those who find a bit of bingo is turning into serious gambling problems there is help and advice.  Women seem more inclined to get the help or to stave off the internet until they are back in control.  For most mothers it is more about finding a balance in their lives to have a little entertainment while the kids are napping.

The trend will be watched to see if more and more mothers take to the online casinos or if they decide to drop back as a result of problems.  For now the online casinos are doing well with the extra business.
